International Design Project Semester (IDPS)

International Design Project Semester

The International Design Project Semester (IDPS) at Osna?brück University of Applied Sciences is a one-semester curri?culum, jointly run in English by Indus?trial Product Design and Media & Inter?action Design lecturers. The program is established as a study abroad option for international undergraduate design students.

You will encounter real-world design problems, to be solved in an interdisciplinary and international team of designers. A special plus point: According to your interests, you may flexibly choose design projects, focus on theoretical subjects, or combine theory and project work. Additionally, you may choose modules within the Industrial Product Design curriculum or the Media & Interaction Design curriculum (depending on the current module offer), or even attend a mix of these courses to broaden your skills outside your original field of expertise.

The course includes 30 ECTS credits. You will get a transcript of records listing all modules you have passed.

Last, but not least you can join an optional German language course, where you will meet international students from other faculties and learn more about Germany and its culture.

Your main advantage: You may study for one semester in Germany without profound German knowledge.

Applications are welcome from all partner universities worldwide.

For further information you can download the course leaflet.
