The Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences has always preserved its character of a familiar teaching and learning place. And that despite strong growth in recent years. In the nationwide university landscape, this growth is not exceptional. In the 2002/2003 winter semester, approximately 1.9 million (mostly) young people studied at Germany's universities, in the 2019/2020 winter semester there were about 2.9 million students.
