Study as an extra-occupation student
Study as an extra-occupation student at the Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences
Whether in block weeks, on weekends or in the evening, more than 500 employed professionals already study at the Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences in extra-occupational degree programs. Usually, short intensive attendance periods and in-depth self-learning phases alternate with each other. The study is specifically tailored to the needs of employed professionals, the study courses can be flexibly arranged so that students can master the double load of studying and working.
In all courses, the interlinking of theory and practice is an important core element. The knowledge gained at the university can be used in a timely manner and leads to successful learning.
Extra-occupational courses are held outside working hours (weekends or evenings) so that everything runs smoothly. With the block week organization, the degree program takes typical working hours like shift work or seasonal variations into consideration.
Extra-occupational students balance study and work. As graduates, they have already proven that they have organizational skills, resilience and perseverance. Parallel to the studies, the student accumulates work experience. While classical students must first be integrated into the working world, graduates of extra-occupational degree programs are immediately fully deployable.
A extra-occupational degree program also allows the student to keep his/her job during the studies and be able to make money at the same time.
