State-certified training as a physiotherapist, university degree in a health-related subject, at least one year of full-time employment or over two years of comparable part-time employment after the first university degree, proof of knowledge of English at university level 3 (CEF B1)

Features

The objective of the Master of Science degree program Musculoskeletal Therapy (Manual Therapy – OMT) is the training of certified manual therapists according to the standards of the International Federation of Orthopaedic Manipulative Physical Therapists (IFOMPT) and the acquisition of grounded knowledge and skills for scientific work.

Foundations and application of evidence-based practice, methodology, motor rehabilitation, reeducation, pathology and differential diagnosis, integrated neuromusculoskeletal assessment and management, ethics in therapy and research, applied practice and research in motor rehabilitation and reeducation

Costs

The tuition fees are 650 Euro per module (5 ECTS) plus reduced semester fee. A one-time charge of 1,900 Euro is applied for the Master thesis and the accompanying module.

Study abroad

Students are encouraged and supported in overseas studies.
