Entrance requirements

An above-average university degree in a degree program in
- Landscape architecture, landscape management, open space planning, landscape planning or landscape development
- Landscaping
- or in another related subject
The decision on whether a prior degree is suitable is made by a commission of the degree program and may be taken on the condition to make up for any missing modules. A foreign university degree is acknowledged as an admission requirement if it is in an equivalent, closely related degree program.

Subject-related prior knowledge

The Master degree program is also directed towards graduates of the above-mentioned subjects with professional experienced who are interested in further qualification. Vocational training, practical professional experience, and work in foreign countries are given special consideration in the admission process.

Occupations

EU-wide field of activity with tasks in the areas of urban regions and cultural landscapes, specialist and managerial positions in highly interdisciplinary fields: in planning offices, in regional planning associations, regional management authorities and interdisciplinary development agencies, protected area administrations and tourist associations, in municipal and state administrations (careers in high-level civil service), freelance work as a consultant or landscape architect. Completion of the Master degree program is accepted by the relevant Chamber.
