Features of the degree program HELPP – Health Services Research and Healthcare Organization
The Master's degree program HELPP – Health Services Research and Healthcare Organization (Midwifery, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, Physiotherapy and Nursing), is research-oriented and interdisciplinary. The degree program focuses on the analysis and evaluation of health services as well as on health services management and research.
The degree program aims to enable health care professionals to assume a coordinating and managing role in the organisation of health services for individuals, families and populations in different settings and to provide answers to important health services related questions on the basis of research. Based on available evidence, graduates acquire the skills to develop targeted, setting-specific health services concepts – drawing on their basic qualification in different health professions. In addition, the degree program imparts the necessary expertise to analyze, evaluate and manage health services and do research in the area.
