Public Administration (B.A.)
Bachelor of Arts
Features of the degree program Public Administration
The Bachelor degree program Public Administration combines the four areas of administrative, legal, economic, and social sciences. Starting in the fourth semester, students can specialize in business administrative, legal, and international topics.
An essential component of the degree program is its pronounced practical relevance. The first two theoretical semesters are followed by the first practical phase. This gives students the opportunity to obtain their first experience in public administration and to apply and expand the knowledge they have already gained.
The sixth semester consists, among other things, of a second practice phase of 15 weeks, which is designed as a practical scientific project and completed in cooperation with a public authority selected by the student. A maximum of twelve weeks of the practical phase may be completed abroad.
