Your path to a Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, Physiotherapy
Structure of the program
First study stage – subject-related semesters 1 to 3
Vocational training of apprentices and graduates of cooperating vocational schools of Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy and Physiotherapy is recognised.
Graduates from vocational schools who do not cooperate with the degree program can get the recognition of the previous apprenticeship by successful participation in a one-day placement exam (equivalence exam). The invitation for the placement exam and recognition of previous achievements takes place in the context of the application process.
Second study stage – subject-related semesters 4 to 6
With the start of the fourth semester, the attendance of studies at the Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences begins.
In the fourth and fifth semesters, multidisciplinary groups and occupational group-specific courses are offered. The scientific practical project and the Bachelor thesis are planned for the sixth semester.

In order to ensure the practical relationship to the field of work, the students complete a practical training during the fourth and fifth semesters as part of the modules "Clinical Reasoning 1 and 2". Since all courses of the fourth and fifth semester are offered from Tuesday to Thursday, the Friday and the Monday are available for the practical training, for preparatory and follow-up courses and for additional offers by the university.
