Music Education (B.A.) – Musical

Since 2009, the Institute of Music of Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences has been offering a four-year BA degree program with an emphasis on musicals. An intensive, foundational first year aimed at developing the student's specific individual capabilities is followed by three intensive training periods concentrated on the varied skills of the actor-singer-dancer.

The course of studies focuses not only on the three main subjects but also on the mutual integration of these expressive elements and the development of prominent performers and voice instructors. This universal approach to instruction is the objective of Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences. Particular emphasis is placed on practice-oriented training in close collaboration with cooperating stages.
