Structure of the program
The cooperative degree program is divided into the study of the Ecotrophology vocational subject, the study of vocational and business education with teaching practice and the study of a general education subject.
The Ecotrophology vocational subject is taught at the Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences; the vocational and business education and the general education subject at the University of Osnabrück. Students study in parallel at the University of Applied Sciences and the University.
The content and time weighting of the three major fields of study shifts during the course of the six-semester degree program. In the first and second semester, the content and time focus of the degree program are in the vocational field of Ecotrophology and thus at the Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences.
From the third semester, the timing and content study portions equalize. In the sixth semester, the Bachelor thesis is to be completed in the vocational subject or in the vocational and business education in cooperation with the vocational subject.
