Information for international applicants
The following application deadlines apply to applicants with German educational qualifications:
winter semester
- For study programs with restricted admissions the application period starts from May to July 15*
- For study programs with open admissions the application period starts from May to September 01*
summer semester
- For study programs with restricted admissions the application period starts from November to January 15*
- For study programs with open admissions the application period starts from November to March 01*

to the online application portal
The Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences offers both: admission-free and admission-restricted study programs.
Information on restricted and not restricted study programs, regulations and differences in connection with application and admission can be found here.
Applicants who have received an offer of a study place from Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences for studies from summer semester 2025 via the application portal can accept the place within the deadlines stated in the letter of admission/letter of enrolment and enrol online.
Enrollment takes place exclusively online with login via the university's application portal. As part of online enrolment, you then submit the declarations required for university studies and upload the documents specified in the letter of admission/letter of information.

These vary depending on the admission requirements for the degree program and the information you have provided in advance in the application portal.
