Program structure
Structure of the program
The dual Bachelor's degree program in Public Administration at Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences lasts six semesters. From the first semester onwards, students complete theory modules in law, economics and social sciences. In the subsequent practical phases, the methodological and technical knowledge acquired can be applied and expanded and experience gained in everyday government work.
In the fifth semester, students have another opportunity to bring theory and practice together with the practical project. In cooperation with the Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences, Lower Saxony authorities offer legal, economic and social science topics. In teamwork, the students deal with these issues scientifically in small groups and develop proposed solutions.
For the elective modules in the 5th and 6th semesters, a range of modules from the law, business administration and an international area are available. Students can also choose from an extensive range of languages.
Block week events on various subject areas can be attended and excursions abroad can be undertaken. There is also the option of completing a practical phase abroad. This requires early planning by the students.
