Deutschlandstipendium
Frequently asked questions about application
An application form must be completed in the application portal. The following documents must also be uploaded here:
- CV
- Record of achievement (for enrolled students, ¡°Master's application module overview¡± for students in their first semester (summer semester) of a bachelor¡¯s degree program, and, from applicants for a bachelor¡¯s program, verification of university entrance qualification, from applicants to a master¡¯s program, the diploma for their first university degree or a provisional grade overview based on which admission to the master¡¯s degree program is applied for)
- Enrollment certificate for the upcoming winter semester
- Any verifications of past volunteer work performed.
For the application to be considered complete, the documents must also be submitted in an anonymized version. If no anonymous version is submitted, such verifications will not be submitted to funding authorities.
No authentication of diplomas and certificates is required.
Verifications of voluntary work or other personal information is not required. The university reserves the right to request original copies as part of random checks. Furthermore, the university reserves the right to review information that is not verified (in particular with respect to volunteer activity) if an application is successful.
With certain e-mail providers (such as web.de or gmx) it may happen that the activation link for the application portal cannot be delivered. If you cannot find a message in your spam folder, please register again using your university e-mail address.
The module overview is available on the intranet under eCampus >>Student service>>Self service documents.
An average grade will also be calculated in this document.
An approximate average value can be calculated for the degree programs of bachelor's in urban landscaping and bachelor¡¯s in landscape development in the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences and Landscape
Architecture only starting from the 5th semester. For students in the Institute of Music, the calculation applies from the time of enrollment in the 1st semester in the 2020/21 winter semester.
If you fall under one of the above exceptions, you can independently calculate the average grade based on information in the special part of the examination regulations for the corresponding degree program: /de/wir/organisation/amtsblatt/ordnungen/.
To calculate a general average grade, the grade must be multiplied by the corresponding credits. The total of all grades is then divided by the total of credits.
See Sec. 7, para. 4 of the Guidelines for awarding the Deutschlandstipendium at the Osnabr¨¹ck University of Applied Sciences; dedicated selection process:
¡°By resolution of the faculty / Institute for Music, University Advancement can involve the funding entities in the selection process in an advisory capacity. For this purpose, University Advancement can forward the application documents of the corresponding candidates to the funding entities in anonymized form, if the applicants have consented to this."
In order to ensure objectivity, and under mandatory data protection law requirements, a second, anonymized copy of certificates, records of performance and the CV must be included with all data that could be used to identify the applicant blacked out. This includes, for instance, the applicant¡¯s name, address, date of birth and place of birth. Two copies of the attachments must be submitted (anonymized and non-anonymized version). The anonymized version can be submitted to a funding organization during the selection process. Funding entities receive a copy of the application form that has been anonymized by University Advancement.

Information on university semesters and semesters of study is provided in the enrollment certificate.

To calculate semesters of study, the semesters the student has completed in their current degree program are added up. Semesters at other universities or in other degree programs (such as in degree programs the student does not complete) are not included.
